Baddeck RCMP are investigating a quantity of marijuana that was seized in the community Wednesday afternoon.
On Wednesday April 30th at approximately 1:20 p.m., Baddeck RCMP responded to a call that a parcel containing drugs had been left at a business on Chebucto Street in Baddeck.
On arrival, RCMP confirmed that the parcel contained bags of dried marijuana; the amount was over 2.5 kilograms. The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the RCMP Forensic Identification Unit.
