From HRPD:

Break And Enter

An adult male faces charges of break, enter and theft after an officer patrolling the plaza parking lot of 278 Lacewood Drive heard glass breaking. He then observed a male enter the Easy Home store through the broken window and quickly exit carrying a flat screen television.

The officer chased the male to the back of the building where he was taken into custody without incident. The 35 year old Halifax man will appear in court today to answer to the charges.

Break And Enter

Two males are in custody after unrelated incidents in Dartmouth overnight. Police K-9 unit followed two separate sets of foot prints around vehicles in the areas of Brookdale Crescent and Crighton Park between 2:30 and 3:00am.

Police believe that 3-4 vehicles were entered and small items taken. The males were taken into custody and the investigation is ongoing.

Charges of theft and possession are expected to be laid against a 16 year old youth and a 35 year old male. The adult male will also face several charges of breaching previously ordered court conditions.
