The suspect in a string of bank robberies around HRM was caught yesterday. From HRPD:
“At 1237 pm this afternoon police responded to a robbery at the TD Canada Trust , 6239 Quinpool Road. Upon arrival police learned that a male entered the bank , produced a note and demanded cash. He left with a quantity of cash and was arrested shortly after in the area Herring Cove Road and Greystone Drive.”
The 50 year old in custody is also facing charges for robberies at the Bank Of Montreal on Mumford Road, CIBC on Parkland Drive, and the Scotiabanks on Quinpool and at the Rotary over the last few weeks. Cash and his disguise was recovered.
