Friday, April 29, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that crews will be working on a traffic signal control box tomorrow (Saturday) at the intersection of Barrington Street and Spring Garden Road.
Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. (with a rain date of Sunday, May 1).
The traffic lights at the intersection will be disabled while work is underway. Traffic control personnel will be on site to direct motorists.
It should be noted there is also unrelated construction work on Saturday and Sunday on Barrington Street near that intersection that will reduce traffic along Barrington Street to one lane.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes whenever possible.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
