Suzy Shier is opening a store in Dartmouth Crossing, where the rest of the clothing stores are.

The Grill at Cut, the lower level of Cut Steakhouse on Lower Water St @ Salter, to become Shuck at Cut, more seafood-y focus.

The Orange Julius in Mic Mac Centre court has closed and integrated with the DQ upstairs.I know this is somehow tied to the disappearance of Woody !!

North End Halifax likes it’s booze, hearing that a small distillery is being built where Nauss Bikes was, they will start with gin and vodka.

The Yeh! inside the Dartmouth Crossing WalMart is gone. Also, in froyo news, CherryBerry on Quinpool is now “seasonal” and closed until March.

A steakhouse is coming to Barrington St., PEI Murphys Group is behind it. They own Gahan House locally, as well they own a slew of restaurants in PEI including Sims Corner Steakhouse in Charlottetown.

The Ardene behind McDs in Bayers Lake is in the process of moving a few buildings beside Marks. The move makes way for DSW to move in that space and the unit to the left.

There was a social media buzz Saturday that IKEA is opening in Dartmouth Crossing but it’s all based on rumours there is no confirmation of any sort at this point. Like I said in my yearly review, though, I do expect we will have the announcement of a store in HRM sometime this year but will it be a small shipping store or a full remains the mystery.

Walmart seems to be having some supply chain issues with empty produce becoming a common thing.
