Barrington Street Closed Due To Suspicious Package

At 11:47 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to the 2400 block of Provo Wallis Street to provide traffic control while Military Police investigate a suspicious package. Police have shut down Barrington Street between North and Cornwallis Streets to all traffic until further notice. Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians are advised to use alternative routes.
