Barrington Street – Guiderail Replacement

Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that beginning Thursday, Jan. 12, and continuing until Friday, Feb. 3, guiderail replacement work will take place on Barrington Street, from Glebe Street to the Robie Street exit ramp off of the MacKay Bridge.

Crews will be on-site each day during the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting. During this work there will be lane drops in place as well as occasional stop-and-go traffic.

Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes, whenever possible.

The municipality regrets any inconvenience this road work may cause.
