Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Barrington Street, between Duke Street and Spring Garden Road, will be closed to traffic during the overnight hours beginning Sunday Jan. 15 and continuing until Thursday, Jan. 19.
Crews will be on-site each night from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning, as part of the ongoing Barrington Street Refresh Project.
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times and Halifax Transit buses will have access until 1 a.m. each night. Sidewalks along this section of Barrington Street will remain open at all times during this work.
The municipality appreciates your patience during this street and sidewalk improvement project, and regrets any inconvenience the work may cause.
