Friday, June 16, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that guard rail work will take place Sunday night on the Barrington Street ramps, inbound from the MacKay Bridge and Windsor Street exchange/Massachusetts Avenue.
Crews will be on site from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. Inbound ramps will be closed and a detour will be in place. There will be advanced signage notifying drivers of the detour at all approaches. Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists around the street closure.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes whenever possible.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is completed.
