Police have charged a woman in relation to a robbery that occurred in Halifax yesterday.

At approximately 8:50 p.m. police responded to a robbery at Michaels located at 45 Washmill Lake Drive.  A woman came into the store and demanded money. She fled the store with a quantity of cash.  The employees were not physically injured.

Officers arrested the suspect without incident a short time later in the area.

Melody D. Wolfe, 42, is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face one count of robbery.
