Friday, March 4, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that crews will be working on traffic signal control boxes on Sunday at TWO SEPARATE LOCATIONS along Bayers Road.
The first crew will be working at the intersection of Bayers Road and Connaught Avenue. The second crew will be working on traffic signals at the intersection where Bayers Road meets the Halifax Shopping Centre entrance.
Crews will be at both sites from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m., assuming the weather co-operates (upgrades cannot be completed if it’s raining or snowing).
The traffic lights at the intersections will be flashing red in all directions while work is underway. Motorists are reminded intersections become four-way stops when traffic lights are flashing red.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
