Friday, Aug. 14, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that beginning on Monday, Aug. 17 and continuing until early October, curb/sidewalk repairs and paving renewal of Bayers Road will take place from Highway 102 to Oxford Street.

The work will be done in two phases. The first segment of work along Bayers Road will be from Highway 102 to Connaught Avenue. That work is expected to stretch into mid-September, and crews will be on site from Sunday to Friday between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. There will also be some work done during the day on weekends.

Work along Bayers Road from Connaught Avenue to Oxford Street will begin in mid-September and will take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Lane drops will be in place while work is underway. Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this road work may cause.
