Bedford 5k to Beat Lung Cancer

Every time you achieve something small, you get closer to something big.

The Bedford 5k to Beat Lung Cancer is about demonstrating that we as a community support those fighting or who have fought lung cancer; they are not alone.

It’s about our community, together, setting small goals and meeting the challenge so that one day, the greater goal of a cure may be achieved. To date, we have raised more than $18,000 for lung cancer initiatives of Nova Scotia Division of the Canadian Cancer Society.

Join us at DeWolf Park on July 3, 2011 to show your determination to see this disease beaten.

Individual, family and team registrations are available. And everyone gets a medal!

This year’s run starts at 9 a.m. Kids first, then the adults.

Online registration is expected to be available June 1st.

Mail-in registration forms and downloadable posters updated today – visit www.bedford5k.com to get them.
