Woman Robbed Outside Bedford Bank

Halifax Regional Police, West Division members are currently on the scene of a robbery.
Robbery was reported at 3:30 pm, 1600 block of the Bedford Highway. Female victim was making her way to the bank to make a deposit when a male grabbed her purse, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash. The male suspect fled to an awaiting vehicle, which contained several other people, the vehicle then fled the area. The victim was not injured during the robbery.
Male suspect is described as a white male, wearing a black hoody and ball cap.
Suspect vehicle is described as a Honda Civic, purplish/grey in color.
