Friday, June 24, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that new traffic signals will be installed early next week on the Bedford Highway near civic address 50 Bedford Highway, adjacent to a new development project and two auto dealerships.
Crews will be on-site beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 27, through to 12 a.m. Tuesday, June 28.
In order to facilitate this work, lane drops will be required in both directions; however, one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction at all times. Traffic control personnel will direct pedestrians around the work site as needed.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and take alternative routes, if possible.
The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
