Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists there will be lane drops overnight tonight on the inbound lanes of the Bedford Highway to Joseph Howe Drive on the Fairview Overpass.
Crews will be on site from 10 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. working on the installation of a new overhead light pole. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with the possibility of intermittent stop-and-go traffic on the Fairview Overpass, as well as on the the ramp to Joseph Howe Drive from the Bedford Highway.
Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
