Bedford Hwy reopened after fire at Persepolis Food Market

Bedford Hwy reopened after fire at Persepolis Food Market Halifax Regional Police along with the Halifax Regional Fire Service responded to a business at 1225 Bedford Highway at 1:45 a.m., after receiving a report that the Persepolis Food Market was engulfed in flames.

The building was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and the fire was eventually extinguished. It is not known at this time what caused the fire and there are no injuries to report.

The Bedford Highway was shut down between Medowbrook Drive and Sullivans Hill Road, but it has now reopened.
