A man, who was charged last year in connection with an assault that took place during a massage in Bedford, faces new charges.
On November 16, 2011, HRM Partners in Policing issued a release regarding sexual assault charges being laid against a male masseuse. That investigation resulted in a 41-year-old man being charges on November 8, 2011.
On December 12, 2011, police received a complaint of an assault that took place during a massage on May 30, 2011. A woman reported that she attended a private home in Bedford and during her treatment, the male masseuse touched her inappropriately. Investigators allege that the touching was of a sexual nature.
Forty-one-year-old Adnan Al-Rassi was charged with sexual assault in connection with the incident that was released in November and was scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on December 19, 2011 at 10 a.m.
He faces an additional charge of sexual assault in relation to the incident that was reported to police in December, and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on April 19, 2012 to answer to the new charge.
