Bedford Players to perform “Busybody”

A body, an interfering office cleaner, and a Chief Inspector with a bad cold and a worse temper make this a side splitting comedy.

The cleaning lady, Mrs. Piper, lives in the basement of the office building she cleans and one night finds a dead body.

More bodies turn up all over the place as Chief Inspector and Constable Goddard try to get to the bottom of a mysterious series of events and murder.

Mrs Piper skillfully hinders the investigation. Needless to say confusion occurs when the supposedly dead Mr Marshall appears very much alive and as unpleasant as ever.

Shows run from October 28 to November 13, with a matinee performance on November 7.
