HRM and Waterfront Development Corporation Limited will host two public workshops this week as part of the development of both the Bedford Waterfront and Birch Cove urban design studies.

The Bedford Waterfront study area encompasses lands in the vicinity of the intersection of Hammonds Plains Road and the Bedford Highway and the Birch Cove Study area encompasses lands in the vicinity of the Kearney Lake Road/Bedford Highway.

These two workshops are the first opportunity for community involvement in the new urban design studies to be held as part of the overall public participation process.
