Bedford youth charged with assault causing bodily harm

Halifax Regional Police have charged a Bedford youth after an altercation at C.P. Allen High School earlier today.

At 1 p.m., police responded to C.P. Allen High School, 200 Innovation Drive in Bedford for a report of a student who had been assaulted by a fellow student who was known to him.

Officers attended the scene and located a 17-year-old male with an injury to his head. He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
