Fundraiser for local Breast Cancer survivor Lucyanne GerrardLOWER SACKVILLE, Nova Scotia – A Benefit Dance and Auction, for a local Breast Cancer survivor, Lucyanne Gerrard will be held on Friday, July 12th, 2013 at the Legion in Lower Sackville, 45 Sackville Cross Road at 7pm.

 Lucyanne has lived in Sackville for over 15 years and was recently diagnosed, for a second time. As a single mother, she is facing not only the stress of surgery and treatment, but the financial burden that comes with being out of work for a prolonged period of time, without long term disability insurance. She is a wonderful person who, as a nurse, has dedicated her life to caring for others.
