Bible Hill RCMP investigate robbery, Bible Hill, N.S.

Bible Hill RCMP is investigating a robbery that occurred on Sunday evening on Main Street.

Last evening, at approximately 10:55 p.m., a lone man entered the Ultramar on Main Street and asked the clerk if he could make change for a $5 bill.

When the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect advised the clerk that he had a weapon and that he was robbing him. The male suspect obtained an undetermined sum of money and fled on foot into the Town of Truro. The store employee was not injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, medium height, wearing a green toque, a green vest, a plaid shirt, sneakers and carrying a black laptop bag. The Police Dog Service attended the scene and picked up a track which led to some pieces of the suspect’s clothing being recovered.
