Bioderma Sensibio

Bioderma Sensibio line (for sensitive skin, red accent packaging) is well known thanks to the legendary Sensibio H2O makeup removing micelle solution, so let’s start with it, but there are a lot more to the brand I was glad to receive for review.

There is one bottle of Sensibio H20 sold around the world every 3 seconds, and I can tell why.

Meant to remove face and eye makeup (including water resistant stuff) without rinsing, and soothe irritated skin in the process, it does just that for me.

I use one cotton pad for my eyes, and another one or two for my face, and there is nothing left on the face after. The skin feels light, fresh and calm.

Standard flip top but with a safety tab at the opening that needs to be peeled off before you can open the bottle.

Ingredients: Water, PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Mannitol, Xylitol, Rhamnose, Fructooligosaccharides, Propylene Glycol, Disodium Edta, Cetrimonium Bromide.

I definitely appreciate the fact that the product is fragrance/ alcohol/ paraben free. 3 sizes available: 100ml (travel size, $6.95), 250ml ($18.95) and 500ml ($29.95).

The line also has a 3-in-1 One Step cleansing milk, also for those lazy nights.

A cleansing milk, toning lotion and eye makeup remover without emulsifying agent, I can totally indulge with just a cotton pad, no rinse either.

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Polypropylene Terephthalate, Glycyrretinic Acid, Mannitol, Xylitol, Rhamnose, Fructooligosaccharides, Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/ VP Copolymer, Pentylene Glycol, etc.

Fragrance/ surfactant/ paraben free, the bottle is 250ml, retails $18.95.

And the latest product in the line is Sensibio Tolerance+, a treatment for neutralizing cutaneous hypersensitivity and increasing the skin’s tolerance level.

The formula, with Neurocontrol (an exclusive complex of a tetrapeptide and a combination of soothing active ingredients), is to sooth the feelings of tightness and discomfort on the skin while providing moisturizing effects.

Like I mentioned before, I am going through bad breakouts and have to be careful with skin care products. Tolerance+ does not cure acne but sooths the skin so I can feel more comfortable in that skin.

The product, suggested to use once or twice a day over the face and neck after cleansing, does not feel heavy on me and sits well under makeup.

Mind you, I am used to anti aging products with thicker consistency, so you might not feel the same. Also spot test, please.

Ingredients: Water, Cocoglycerides, Glycerin, Silica, Glyceryl Stearate, Sodium Citrate, Capryloyl Glycine, Mannitol, Xylitol, Rhamnose, Sodium Pca, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-15, Undecylenoyl Glycine, Sclerotium Gum, Sodium Hydroxide.

The bottle, with an airless pump, is fragrance/ paraben/ preservative free, 40ml, $26.95.

Here are the 3-in-1 One Step cleansing milk (left) and Tolerance+ (right).

The cleansing milk is definitely more thin/ runny, easy to be spread out on the skin and disappears into nothing.

Tolerance+ is like a thicker lotion but not by much. I don’t notice it while it is on and don’t wake up feeling greasy.

So my first run with the brand through Sensibio line is quite a success. Stay tune for another line tomorrow, cause like I said, there are more to Bioderma and we just got started.
