Appeasing my minimalist side, ever since my trip to New York City recently I seem to be really favoring black and white layering.

Simple and classic there’s something slightly playing about unconventionally layering the two. While I was in New York I picked up a few new things, and one of them that I love the most is this simple sheer white t-shirt from Forever 21 (that almost made me miss my train to Boston) along with this DKNY no wire soft cup bra that feels more like a swimsuit than a traditional undergarment (similar here, here and here).

If the New Yorker taught me anything this past weeks it’s that you should never take yourself too seriously, and there’s nothing wrong with a little monochrome action here and there.
