Bodies of two missing men recovered in Parrsboro

 

Update #1: RCMP confirm body of second man missing in Parrsboro located
Saturday, January 21, 2012, Parrsboro, Nova Scotia…RCMP confirm the body of the second man missing from Parrsboro was found the afternoon.
At approximately 3:50 this afternoon, the body of the second man was found along the Parrsboro shoreline area by Ground Search and Rescue.
At 8:30 this morning, RCMP received a 911 call regarding two men that were reported missing. It is believed the men were on ATVs in the Parrsboro shore area.
Earlier this morning, RCMP confirmed the discovery of the first deceased man.
The names of both men are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The RCMP would like to thank the Ground Search and Rescue teams and Parrsboro Fire Service for their assistance.
