Bishopville, Hants County, Nova Scotia
An 83-year-old man from Lockhartville was reported missing early this morning. He was located deceased in Davidson Lake shortly before 3 a.m. Hantsport Fire Department and Hants County Ground Search and Rescue assisted in the search.
The man reportedly left his home near 2 p.m. yesterday to go fishing in Davidson Lake. Kings District RCMP was contacted by the man’s family when he did not return home. An autopsy will be conducted by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Office. Foul play has been ruled out.
