The 2009 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships happening right now over in Dartmouth will create an estimated $10 million in economic spinoffs, including 260 jobs. Halifax Regional Municipality is playing host to over 70 countries and 1000 international athletes and coaches over the course of the Championships.
