Brazen daytime break and enters in Tantallon area, Tantallon, N.S.

Halifax District RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in investigating two break and enters which occurred in Tantallon yesterday.

Both incidents occurred during daytime hours while the homeowners were at work, and both gained entry via a rear or side door.

While there is some distance between the two residences (approximately 6 km), both residences are not far from Highway 213. Items taken included small electronic devices and jewellery.

Residents everywhere are reminded to secure their homes and to set any alarms or security cameras they may have in an effort to safeguard their belongings.

Police urge everyone who notices any suspicious activity, people or vehicles, to report such incidents to the police at the time so that they may be investigated.
