Brazen theft of televisions results in arrest

Two adults are facing charges after a brazen theft of 3 televisions.

Prior to 6:30 p.m. on January 13, Halifax District RCMP responded to a theft in progress at a business on Sackville Dr. in Lower Sackville. The quick action of an employee and police, resulted in the arrest of two suspects near the business.

A 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, both of Annapolis County, are facing charges for Theft Under $5000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. They will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on March 7, 2018 at 9:30 a.m.

The investigation is continuing.
