At 1:35 AM HRP officers responded to an alarm at Habanero’s Taco Bar located at 380 Pleasant St in Dartmouth.
Up arrival it was determined to be a break and enter. Video at the location showed two suspects entering the restaurant and attempting to force open the cash register. Officers set up containment in the area and K9 was called in. K9 conducted a successful track and located a suspect on the grounds of the Imperial Oil Refinery. This party was taken into custody without incident. During the course of the follow up investigation a second suspect was identified and taken into custody at his home without incident. Two male subjects ( 20 and 21 yrs old) from the Dartmouth area have been held and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court in the am facing Break & Enter , Theft and Property Damage charges.
