Break and enter investigation leads to drug search

Early morning commercial break and enter investigation leads to drug search and seizure.

This morning at 7:16 a.m. police responded to a report that the front door of Coastal Cannapy located at 2411 Agricola Street in Halifax, was smashed.

While investigating the break and enter officers located what appeared to be illegal drugs and contacted investigators with the Special Enforcement Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.

At 11:35 a.m. a warrant was executed and a large quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of currency was seized.

Both investigations are ongoing at this time. There have been no charges laid and no arrests have been made in either matter.
