Break and Enter/Indecent Act

From HRPD:
The HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Section is investigating an incident which occurred in the city’s west end Saturday morning.

At 4:40 a.m. police were called to a residence on the 6500 block of Edinburgh Street. A female resident reported that she woke up to find a man masturbating in her bedroom. The woman confronted the man who fled from the residence. The suspect is described as a white man, 18-22-years-old, 5'8", 170 lbs. with short dark hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark striped button up shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 490-5016 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
