Bridges at New France Closed to Vehicles

A bridge in New France Provincial Park Reserve, Digby Co., and a bridge just outside the park reserve boundary, in the proposed Silver River Wilderness Area, are closed to most vehicles for safety reasons.

The two bridges are still accessible for light, off-highway vehicles.

A proposed plan for protected lands in the area will be presented to the public for feedback in the fall. Decisions on park access routes will be made as part of the proposed plan.
