BYOB: Build your own board

There’s nothing like riding waves on a board you made yourself.

Learn the art of surfboard shaping at the Nova Scotia Sea School’s “Build Your Own Surfboard” course next month.

“You will choose the style of board and the Sea School will take you through the steps of custom designing, shaping and glassing it,” said Sea School executive director Amy Schwartz.

“Whether you are an expert surfer or a beginner, this course will take you to a new level of surfing know-how. Register today and have your board ready for the winter swell!”

The course will take place on weekend days and weekday evenings from November 7 to November 15.

To register, call (902) 423-7284 or email info@seaschool.org.
