Police are looking for two males after a taxi driver was robbed last night.
At approximately 9:10 pm a taxi driver responded to a pick up call at an address in the 3600 block of St Paul’s St. in Halifax. As the driver arrived at the address there were two males standing outside. Both of these males approached the taxi. One male opened the passenger door, produced what is believed to be a hand gun and demanded cash from the driver. The driver turned over a small amount of cash and the two males fled the area on foot, running in an easterly direction. No one was injured during the incident. The only description at this time is that both suspects were males in their early 20’s, average height and build and both were wearing black hoodies. No suspects have been arrested as of yet and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact officers at 490-5016 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
