Yup, that’s right. I’m calling London. And London is calling me back!
Last weekend, I had the pleasure of walking into London Loft (www.londonloft.ca) that’s located in Historic Properties.
Opened since February in the old Argyle Fine Art Gallery (for you Haligonians), London Loft boasts “British inspired furniture and accessories with a twist of Rock and Roll.”
Trust me, it does not disappoint.
The second I stepped across the doorstep, I knew it was different from anything else offered here in Halifax. I was taken aback by the beautiful floors, incredible lighting, wood beams, and it’s true loft vibe.
To be perfectly honest, I kinda wanted to move in.
In addition to all of this…the furniture and accessories are exactly as promised. It’s refreshing…they know exactly who they are and what they offer.
And it looks like they also know exactly who their customer is, too. Their wares are all beautifully displayed in small vignettes, and it’s warm and welcoming. Like hanging out in a cool house of a friend that has a bit of rock and roll edge.
What could be better?
It’s very reasonably priced for the quality. Yes, really.
If you are not looking to make a bold move in your design style, you would still be missing out if you don’t take a cruise through. It offers a lot of handsome, more traditional english furniture and accessories as well.
Remember, even smaller items and accessories can be incorporated into your existing style and have a big impact.
I took a lot of pictures for you to see…and I’ll definitely be back.
People, London is calling! You should listen.
