Campbell Point Beach and Government Wharf Beach closed to swimming

Wednesday, July 17, 2013 (Halifax, NS) - HRM citizens are advised that Campbell Point Beach on Hatchet Lake in Halifax and Government Wharf Beach in Musquodoboit Harbour are closed to swimming due to high bacteria levels.

Wednesday, July 17, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – HRM citizens are advised that Campbell Point Beach on Hatchet Lake in Halifax and Government Wharf Beach in Musquodoboit Harbour are closed to swimming due to high bacteria levels.

HRM regularly tests the water quality at its supervised beaches and recent test results indicate bacteria levels at these beaches exceed Health Canada swimming guidelines. HRM citizens will be advised when the beaches reopen.
