Canada Games Oval Grand Opening Rescheduled

HRM Release:
(Friday, December 17, 2010) – The Grand Opening for the Canada Games
Oval on the North Common will take place on Monday, December 20th at 5
p.m. followed by the first public skate at 6 p.m. weather depending.
The Canada Games Oval will be the largest artificial ice surface east
of Quebec City and will be featured as HRM’s marquee outdoor venue for
the Halifax 2011 Canada Games from February 11th to 27th.
Grand Opening Events are kindly sponsored by Bell Canada.

6 – 9:30 p.m.   Public Skating

NOTE: A CSA approved multi-impact helmet is required for children 12
and under and encouraged for all others.
