Canada Reads Wants Your Vote

Canada Reads have taken on the daunting task of choosing the essential Canadian novel from the past decade.

They have generated a shortlist of forty titles by surveying booksellers, librarians, publishers, readers, etc… From a list of 400+ titles they have narrowed it down 40.

They now need your vote to determine a short list of ten. So why not wander over to the Canada Reads site and weigh in on which novel should be crowned as the essential Canadian read from the past decade.

My vote has already been placed for Joseph Boyden’s Through Black Spruce.
