At approximately 8:15 this morning officers responded to a 911 call at the Canada Trust at 1475 Bedford Highway, where it was reported that a man entered the bank and demanded money from staff.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash.

He is described as a white male, 5’8″-5’9″, 160 to 170 lbs wearing a black zip up jacket, possibly fleece, and a black ball cap.

He fled the bank on foot in an undetermined direction. He indicated to staff he had a weapon, however none was seen. No one was injured during the incident.
