Release:
RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment has arrested a man after recovering stolen property in Musquodoboit Harbour.
On August 5, at approximately 10:10 a.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a report that a stolen ATV and trailer were being hauled by a black truck travelling toward Musquodoboit Harbour.

An officer located a truck matching the description on Hwy. 7 in Gaetz Brook and conducted a traffic stop. When the officer advised the driver of the reason for the stop, the driver fled.
The officer followed the truck and trailer to Chris Cait Dr. and Scots Lake Rd., where the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot into nearby woods. The passenger, a 33-year-old woman from Dartmouth, was arrested and later released without charge.
The trailer and ATV were confirmed to have been stolen in Dartmouth during the early morning hours of August 3.
With assistance from the Halifax Regional Police Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, a remotely piloted aircraft system, and tips from the public, the man was located on Hwy. 107 and arrested.
Scott David Creamer, 36, of Halifax Regional Municipality, is charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000
- Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance
- Flight from a Peace Officer
- Driving while Prohibited (two counts)
- Failing to Comply with Probation Order
Creamer was also arrested on four outstanding warrants for:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000 (three counts)
- Driving while Disqualified (three counts)
- Failing to Comply with Conditions (three counts)
- Resists/Obstructs Peace Officer
- Operate a Conveyance while Prohibited
- Theft Over $5,000 (two counts)
Creamer is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on August 6.
