HRM release:
The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Cathedral Lane will reopen to all traffic by the end of the day on Monday, July 7, following the closure in support of Halifax Water’s sewer separation project.
The street will reopen with several improvements:
Some off-street work is ongoing, including brick pavers being installed near Victoria Park to enhance the streetscape.
These upgrades will add 17 on-street parking spaces and improve pedestrian safety and visibility at the intersections of Spring Garden Road, College Street and University Avenue.
