Cattle Loose on Highway 102 between Stewiacke and Brookfield
Colchester District RCMP wish to warn motorist of reports of cows on the highway.
Colchester District RCMP wish to caution motorists that on Wednesday evening several calls have been received reporting cows on and near Hwy 102 in the northbound and southbound lanes between Brookfield and Stewiacke. Several cows from a nearby farm broke away from the pasture and have been roaming in the woods, some of the cows have reached Hwy 102.
The Department of Transportation have posted signs along the highway cautioning motorist in the area. The highway remains open however motorists are being advised to drive with caution.
