CBC Radio/YMCA redevelopment for South Park/Sackville St. Here is an updated artist rendering for the redevelopment of the CBC Radio/YMCA property in Downtown Halifax.

CBC is moving out to the old “Bay” location off Chebucto Rd. and the YMCA is taking over the entire property. The have just announced a partnership with Southwest Properties and Streamliner Properties to redevelop the lot. The YMCA will take up the majority of the podium and there will be residential units above. The development will consist of two buildings. One will be 15 storeys and the other will be 17. Occupancy is expected by late 2017 or early 2018.
