Celebrating 100 Years Of The Bra With Triumph

Triumph Lingerie
Delicate and soft Triumph‘s release of the Amourette Collection is faultlessly feminine. In celebration of 100 years of bra, Triumph is celebrating with a special lingerie set, and bra fitting sessions at The Bay, and I was lucky enough to receive both!
As a preempt to the anniversary of the bra (100 years!) I received my fitting over the phone with a lovely and very patient (I could NOT find a measuring tape) employee from Dv Communications.

It was super easy, and I was happy to know that I was actually wearing the RIGHT bra size!

Did you know that 85% of woman wear the wrong bra size. Dina mentioned that it’s important to go often to get fitted because of weight fluctuations, and I never really thought about it until she mentioned it, but it makes total sense. When you gain or lose weight the girls are either the first things to go or grow, and so it’s only logical to go every once in a while (suggested every 6 months) and get checked to see if you’re wearing the correct size.

When my package arrived I was nervous about receiving lingerie in the mail especially given that I hadn’t previously tried on, but I was happy that both pieces fit like a glove! A scandalous lacy glove that is. The Amourette lace bra sits comfortably against my skin, and I just love its soft sheer cups (not normally my go-to). I’m really looking forward to styling this bra under some loose baggy singlets this summer.

Perfectly tailored and soft against the skin, along with the amourette sheer lace bra I also received the lace hipster panty. Fitting just as a regular panty would the lace detailing adds the perfect amount of sex appeal and femininity making them just as sultry as they are comfortable.

What do you think blog reader do you think you’re wearing the correct bra size? I was pretty shocked to find out I was! How does the fit of your lingerie impact your confidence? For me it’s everything!

If you’re interested in receiving an appointment for a personal fitting like I did (totally recommend it) be sure to contact Triumph at bra.fittings.ca@triumph.com or by drop in to receive a personal fitting with an expert Triumph store adviser at select Hudson’s Bay locations.  And to learn more about the history of the company check out this video from Triumph by clicking here.
