Celebrating Labour Day

NOTE: The following is a statement from Labour and Advanced Education Minister Labi Kousoulis. As Labour Day approaches, I want to take this opportunity to recognize the efforts and accomplishments of hard-working Nova Scotians across the province. Nova Scotians have a strong work ethic and a strong commitment to growing our communities and our economy. Meaningful employment opportunities for all Nova Scotians will continue making our province a great place to live and work. I’d like to thank each and every person, including employers, employees and the unions and associations that represent them. Together, you help make Nova Scotia workplaces safe and productive, contributing to a stronger province. I wish you all a very safe and happy Labour Day. I hope that you can enjoy your time celebrating with family and friends.Source: Release
