Charges after search of home

Police have charged a man after conducting a search of a residence in Halifax this week.

At approximately 5:30 a.m. on November 18, members of the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division and West Patrol Division officers conducted a search warrant at a residence on Autumn Drive in Halifax. A man was arrested inside the residence without incident. Investigators seized a quantity of cocaine, crack cocaine, oxycodone, hydromorphone, cash and a ballistic vest.

A 51-year-old Halifax man is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date to face one count each of possessing, producing and trafficking a controlled substance.
