Charges follow after Break and Enter incident, Digby, N.S.

RCMP have arrested three males after a Break and Enter investigation in Digby. Yesterday morning, 1:30 a.m., Digby RCMP were called to a Break and Enter at a residence on First Avenue.

Yesterday morning, 1:30 a.m., Digby RCMP were called to a Break and Enter at a residence on First Avenue.

One male was assaulted and sent to hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries. Further investigation revealed that three suspects had assaulted the victim.

A 22-year-old Digby man, Justin James Gallant, has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Break and Enter, Uttering Threats and Breach of Conditions. He is scheduled to appear in Digby Provincial Court on April 17th, 2014. The two other male suspects are also facing numerous charges including Assault and Break and Enter. They were released from police custody with a court date on June 16th.

The matter remains under investigation.
