Charges Laid after Sexual Assault in Halifax

Halifax Regional Police have charged a man in connection with a sexual assault that occurred last evening in Halifax.

Shortly after 5 p.m., a man approached a 37-year-old woman who was standing outside a building on the 5600 block of Spring Garden Road and asked her for a cigarette. Two other men then approached, one of whom then put his arm around the woman and forced his lips on her neck.
